  • How does the coaching process work?

    At each session, the client is responsible for bringing a relevant topic of importance with the intent of gaining a new awareness of how their patterns of thinking impact their behaviors and circumstances. Once understand this, they can begin to choose how to shift their behaviors to better manage professional challenges.  At the end of each session, we discuss learning, actions, and accountabilities. 

    How many sessions will I need?

    Typically, coaching engagements take place over six sessions with an option to renew. The number of sessions is very dependent on what the client wishes to achieve with coaching support. Sessions are usually 30-60 minutes in length. Typically, there are roughly two weeks between sessions, but the frequency of meetings is client-dependent. Consistency is the most important factor for achieving results.

    Is coaching done in person or online?

    Coaching is done via in-person meetings or virtually through video conference. Both are considered equally effective. 

    What results can I expect?

    Once leaders become aware of themselves and their relationship to the organization they serve, they are more willing to act in ways that are in service to organizational purpose and mission. This allows them to lead through challenging situations with greater ease. Coaching goes beyond coursework approaches to teaching content and helps clients to internalize learning through changes in their own internal thought processes.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    I respectfully request at least 24-hours notice on cancellations and/or reschedules so that I can use the appointment slot for another client.
